Regular Servicing means finding and rectifying faults before they become major problems.
DSB Mechanical Services recommend that every vehicle receives a full service annually. Regular servicing can help find and fix minor problems with a vehicle before they become major and expensive setbacks.
Servicing at DSB Mechanical Services comprises a fully-comprehensive 40-point check, including:
- Changing all air, oil and fuel filters
- Replacing spark plugs
- flushing and replacing engine oil
- Checking all brakes and brake fluid levels
- Testing suspension and operation of suspension dampers
- Checking timing and auxiliary belts for wear
- Looking for any damage to bodywork, lamps, and trim
- Testing the operation of all seat belts
- Ensuring all interior and exterior lights are in full working order, including any dashboard warning lights
- Testing windscreen washers and wipers
During a Service - if we find any repairs that you are not aware of, we will contact you advising you of the problem before proceeding with any further work.
Servicing reports include advisory repairs (if needed) if we detect any issues with your vehicle that will require attention in the near future.
DSB Mechanical Services recommend that you have an interim service, or at least an oil and filter change, every six months. We can also carry out extended periodic maintenance such as timing belt replacement and brake fluid renewal.
